Building Confidence and Strength for All

Jodie May, parent of Frankie (age 11) -

“When Frankie started at The Performance Hub (then CAPA) two years ago, she was just a shy 9-year-old who loved dancing. Now she’s a confident performer with Grade 3 Ballet and Tap distinctions, gold medals from regional competitions, and she’s just been cast in this year’s panto at the Orchard Theatre. The highlight was definitely watching her perform at Dance World Cup in Prague with the team. I never imagined she’d be competing on an international stage at her age! The teachers here are amazing and they genuinely develop the whole child. Frankie has found some of her best friends, and we’ve found a dance family that celebrates every achievement, big or small.”

Our structured curriculum follows the prestigious Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) syllabus, ensuring students receive world-class training delivered by professionally qualified instructors who maintain small class sizes for individual attention.

Our ballet programme emphasises proper technique from the earliest stages, focusing on correct posture, alignment, and fundamental positions that create strong, versatile dancers. Progressive training develops strength, flexibility, musicality, and performance quality, with each level carefully building upon previous learning. Beyond physical capabilities, ballet training cultivates mental discipline, concentration, confidence, and life skills including goal-setting and perseverance that serve students throughout their personal and professional lives.

Our teachers expertly prepare students for examinations whilst ensuring the experience remains enjoyable, and our consistently strong results reflect both student dedication and teaching quality.

We also provide access to competition opportunities including Dance World Cup, alongside annual showcases and community performances that develop stage presence and artistic communication.
